The Holocaust. A time between 1941-1945. Where Jews were targeted and methodically murdered. It was the largest genocide of the 20th century. Antisemitism is a starting place for trying to understand the tragedy that would be fall countless people during the Holocaust. Through out history, Jews faced prejudice and discrimination. September 1, 1939, Germans armies invaded Poland in a surprise attack.It was the start of WW11. 50 million people were dead before war had ended in 1945. 6 million people were Jews that were killed by the Germans. Most were executed, died of starvation, disease and exhaustion. Many of them were teens. The children did not live very long after they got to the camps. somewhere used as targets for the machine guns, and then other children were thrown into a pit that was filled with fire. The adults boarded trains and were one there for days, either everyone died or just a few survived.
There are many stories of the Holocaust. Most of these people didn't know each other, and their stories are every similar. The many different stories that are told about the Holocaust from the survivers are proof that the holocaust actually happened. But there are people who try and say that it never happened but yet it did. It was the worst 4-5 years ever for the Jews. Some of the people that were killed weren't even Jews.
